Description

Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in East Wenatchee, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The station is located at 377 Eastmont Ave, East Wenatchee, WA 98802 Project Contact: Deputy Chief Kelly Lindemann, klindemann@chelancountyfire.com Douglas County Fire District #2 has a headquarter fire station that was built in 1993. The station was constructed using concrete blocks. The station has developed numerous cracks, primarily in the 3-story hose tower. In addition to the cracks found in the station, there are cracks in the pavement and curbing near the hose tower. Scope of Work: Assess the structural stability of the 3-story hose tower Assess the structural stability of the mezzanine, which is used as a workout/weight room and is connected to the hose tower. Assess cracking in the asphalt and curbing near the hose tower. Provide design options to repair or remove the hose tower. Provide design options for relocating the workout area.
