Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Wenatchee, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Board of County Commissioners of Douglas County are seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consultants with expertise in right-of-way acquisition for federally funded projects for the Grant Rd and Nile Ave Intersection Improvement Project. The project is expected to begin work immediately upon contract approval. Funding has been allocated through the Highway Safety Improvement Program, and local sources, and will be held to standards for federally funded projects and ADA and Civil Rights language for Douglas County, and Federal EEO requirements. The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of pre-paring and acquiring Right of Way in accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act (The Uniform Act) for the Grant Rd and Nile Ave. intersection improvements project. This project work includes utility installation, grading, excavation, fill, installation of a roundabout, and associated pedestrian facilities. The consultant will be tasked to deliver Title Reviews, Preparation and Administration, Appraisal and Appraisal Review, Acquisition, Closing, and Certification responsibilities. This project has zero (0) % DBE goal. Douglas County encourag-es disadvantaged, minority, and. women-owned consultant firms to respond. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
