Renovation of a municipal facility in Woodland, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 20,218-square-foot municipal facility.

The County of Yolo is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to provide construction renovation to the second floor of the Yolo County Building at 100 West Court St Woodland, CA for the Yolo County General Services Department per specifications outlined in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bidders who submit a response to this IFB must have the ability to meet the bid specifications and requirements, including General Terms and Conditions contained in this IFB. All questions regarding this IFB are to be directed to Karen Kawelmacher in the "Question & Answer," section of this solicitation. Failure to adhere to this process may disqualify potential bidder. The County is not responsible for any oral or written interpretations from any other person The County of Yolo advises that interested parties periodically cnd/or other county links for modifications. The County of Yolo is not responsible for misunderstandings of a solicitation or nonresponsive bid due to failure to check these websites for updates or amendments to solicitation documents, and/or other information regarding this solicitation. The pricing you enter is a place holder but the final pricing in the hard copy submittal will be counted as your final offer. If hard copies are not submitted your bid will be disqualified. BUILDING AREA: FIRST FLOOR (NIC): 10,220 SF (EXISTING) SECOND FLOOR: 9,998 SF (IMPROVEMENT AREA, EXISTING) 20,218 SF TOTAL (EXISTING) Unless otherwise agreed pursuant to Section 3.01 of the General Conditions, Contractor shall begin work within ten (10) days after receiving the Contract Administrators Notice to Proceed and shall complete the work within 150 calendar days after receiving that notice. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at the project site located at 100 West Court Street, Woodland, CA 95695 CONTRACT BOND. Prior to final payment as provided in Article 26, Contractor shall furnish a bond issued by a responsible corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of California in a form provided or approved by the County, and securing the performance by Contractor of his obligation undertaken by virtue of the guarantees required by Article 26. Such bond shall remain in full force and effect for a period of no less than one (1) year from and after recordation by the County of a Notice of Completion or a Notice of Cessation of Work, and shall be in a sum no less than ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the final Contract Price.
