The Work consists of construction of the following items, as further described in the technical specifications: a) Demolition of portions of existing paving, curb and gutter in the vicinity of a new odor control facility. b) Tie-ins to existing foul air, drain, and reclaimed water utilities in the vicinity of the new odor control facility. c) Construction of concrete foundations and equipment pads for placement of odor control biotreatment system equipment and appurtenances. d) Procurement and installation of the odor control biotreatment system equipment and related piping, ductwork, valves, instrumentation and controls. e) Modifications to existing electrical facilities to supply power to the new odor control biotreatment system. f) Integration of new odor control biotreatment system into City's existing monitoring and control systems. g) Paving and grading improvements in the vicinity of a new odor control facility. h) Miscellaneous utility and site improvements to accommodate the improvements listed above Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the City Council, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to City of Davis as bid security The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Each bond shall be in the forms set forth herein, shall be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bonding requirements, as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and that is a California admitted surety insurer
