Mobilization, installation of 8'x8' reinforced PC concrete box culvert, excavate/shape/grade outfall ditch, installation of headwalls and wingwalls, installation of guardrail and guardrail posts, installation of hot mix asphalt, installation of drainage culverts and catch basins, haul-in/grade/ compact backfill and limestone, haul-in/grade limestone (55#, 24" thick) and installation of silt fencing, demolition, final clean-up and fine grading in all areas, including seeding and fertilizing of excavated areas and sufficient ditching to accommodate surface runoff, and other miscellaneous work as called for on the drawings or reasonably implied. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Spangler Engineering, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office, Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
