Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 108,650-square-foot, three-story above grade clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; and clubhouse / community center.
Construction of a community use building Espace Rivière that will be a unique place in Montreal that will bring together: - the completely renovated and expanded Rivière-des-Prairies library; - a new cultural centre; - community and leisure spaces, and; - the Accès Montréal office of the Rivière-des-Prairies borough. The project also includes major landscaping work. Note. The project includes the construction of a new building and/or expansion of the of the existing library structure. The existing building could be kept or deconstructed according to the proposals of the Contest winner. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is un a very advanced stage. Working drawings are expected to begin in early 2026. Owner expects that the project design will be completed in 2026 to issue a tender for the general contractor in during the same year. The start of work is scheduled for 2027 and an opening is expected in 2029.
