ARPA-2* Rebid H&HS and DES Mechanical Replacements and Controls Description: Work to Include but Not Be Limited to: Removal and Replacement of 19 Air Handling Units (Ahus) Throughout the Facility. Four of the Units Shall Be Converted From Steam to Hot Water Heating, by Providing a New Heat Exchanger, Trim and Pumping System. Controls for Each Unit Shall Be Replaced. Removal of Four Roof Mounted Condensing Units and Extending the Existing Chilled Water System to Serve Four of the Replacement Ahu's. Work Shall Also Include All Electrical Work Associated With the Removal and Replacement of the Units, and Integration to the Existing Fire Alarm System. Commissioning of All 19 Units.
This Project Includes a Price Escalation Clause for the Cost ofPurchasing Ahus. Bidders Should Carefully Review This Clause Prior to Submitting Bids. See Section 00255 Escalation Clause. The Project Will Include the Discipline(S) of: Mechanical and Electrical. Bidders Should Act Promptly and Submit All Questions in Writing to David W. A bid bond shall be submitted electronically at the time of bid in the amount listed below, payable to, "Treasurer, State of New Hampshire," as security for the execution of the contract. All individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations intending to bid, before obtaining plans and specifications, must file with the Department of Transportation on forms prepared for that purpose at least ten (10) days prior to opening of bids, a statement showing their qualifications. No valid bidding proposal will be issued to a prospective bidder who is not qualified. Companies, corporations or trade names, except sole proprietorships must be registered with the Secretary of 5 State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in order to do business with the State of New a Hampshire. Bidders are advised that final bid award, as approved by Governor and Executive Council, and issuance of a notification to proceed with the work, can occur up to 60 days or more after the bid opening date.Per section 00204.18.2, Low Bidder has 10 days after notice of award to submit signed Contract, Certificate of Insurance, and Disadvantage Business Enterprise forms, if required. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security at Bid and must furnish a 100% payment and performance security prior to execution of contract.
