Site work for a recreation facility in Hamilton, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a recreation facility.
The HRCA manages the Wild Waterworks (WWW) waterpark, on behalf of the City of Hamilton. Within WWW there are two existing water slides known as the "Blue Demon" & "Night Rider". The two tube slides were installed in 2000. These slides, manufactured by Proslide and are a made up of a combination of Proslide Giant Continuous River and Protube '54' components. These slides have experienced colour fading due to sun exposure, as well as surface blemishes and discoloration of the riding surface due to rider use and exposure to treated water. The HRCA has retained a Consultant to scope appropriate repair specifications, these documents are provided within this tender. The total area of both slides to be resurfaced is approximately 1,515 m2 (16,307sq. ft). Provisionally, the interior of the Protube '54' components of the slides totaling 700m2 (7,535 sq. ft) will also be considered as part of this contract. tender cancelled.
