The project consists of furnishing all labor and materials necessary for cleaning and lining approximately 8,755 linear feet of 6", 8", 12", and 16" unlined cast iron water mains in the Columbus Water Works (CWW) distribution system. The work will be awarded in 1 Contract. The Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Contract Agreement, Drawings, Specifications and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following:Issuing Office Barge Design Solutions, Inc. 1201 Front Ave., Suite F Columbus, Georgia 31901 (706) 321-4590 Columbus Water Works 1421 Veterans Parkway Columbus, Georgia 31901. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Additionally, Bidders will be required to demonstrate compliance with the American Iron and Steel Special Conditions and Information, and the Supplemental General Conditions in Appendix C to comply with GEFA requirements
