As of January 20th, 2022 this project has been approved by the city. A general contractor has been confirmed. Construction work will begin in May of 2022. All sub trades have been awarded at this time. The budget for the project is approximately $1.1 Million. Sealed bid proposals for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work to design and build a pre-engineered, steel framed, metal exterior and metal roof aircraft storage hangar building (approximately 12,000 Sq. Ft.) with attached shed/lean to-style lobby, restrooms and office area and an enclosed automobile storage area (approximately 3,300 Sq. Ft.); and adjacent asphalt outdoor automobile parking area (approximately 6,000 Sq. Ft.) will be received by the Williams County Regional Airport Authority at 825 North Main Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506, then publicly opened and read aloud. The successful bid proposal must comply with requirements set out in the contract documents including all Federal, State and Local Required Contract Provisions, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Labor Requirements, Affirmative Action Requirements, Government wide Debarment and Suspension, Government wide Requirements for a Drug-free Workplace, and Non-Segregated Facilities Requirements. Company qualifications and sample similar projects are encouraged to be included with the request for documents. Design/Build Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 calendar days after the date of receiving bids. The successful bidder shall commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date to be specified in a written order of the Owner and shall complete work within the time prescribed in the contract documents.
