SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the Energy Savings Company (ESCO) Willdan Engergy Services, and the Owner, Kenilworth Board of Education, for the ESIP Mechanical Work at David Brearley Middle/High School and Warren G. Harding Elementary School located in Kenilworth, Union County, New Jersey. Bids should be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed below. If hand delivering bids, please notify the school in advance at (908) 276-1644 ext. 1550. Bids shall be delivered or mailed to the below-stated location and marked with the project number below: Nick Hesser, Willdan Energy Services c/o Vincent Gonnella, Kenilworth Board of Education 426 Boulevard, Kenilworth, NJ 07033 Project No: MECH 2021 Site visits at any other time must be arranged at least one business day in advance through the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, Drew Vanderzee, 908-358-2749. A mandatory site inspection is required by all prospective bidders. A site inspection form and reporting information is contained in bidders package and must be completed by the bidder and signed by an owners representative. Any questions or requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing to the Architects office no later than 4:00pm on August 12, 2021 by emailing afinkle@ ssparchitects.com. The ESCO, Owner, and Architect have determined that only DPMC Trade Classifications listed below are deemed eligible to bid this project. C032 HVACR Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Chapter 127, P.L. 1975 (NJAC 17:27 Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute) as amended from time to time, the American with Disabilities Act and with any and all other Federal and New Jersey Statutes not specified herein. All contractors are subject to background checks and fingerprinting. Refer to Section B Instructions to Bidders for additional information. Bidders are also required to comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Law (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et seq.-NJAC 12:60). THE OWNER AND ESCO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS AND WAIVE ANY INFORMALITY IN THE BIDDING PROCESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW IF IT IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF BOTH. THE CONTRACT, IF AWARDED, SHALL BE AWARDED BY THE ESCO TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER WHOSE BID IS RESPONSIVE IN ALL MATERIAL RESPECTS TO THE BID REQUIREMENTS. NO BID SHALL BE DEEMED ACCEPTED UNTIL THE EXECUTION OF A SUBCONTRACT BY THE ESCO.
