The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the "County") is seeking solicitations and proposals from professional campground management and operations firms and/or individuals to administer, operate, further develop and manage the Gulf County Public Park and Facilities at both the Dead Lakes and Howard Creek/ Lower Landing Campgrounds. Any questions concerning this RFQ must be submitted in writing no later than 11:00 a.m. Eastern, on August 16, 2021 and should be directed to Clay Smallwood at csmallwood@gulfcounty-fl.gov and a copy of your correspondence to info@gulfclerk.com. All proposals that are timely received shall become the property of the County and any costs or expenses incurred in relation to preparation and submission of proposals shall be borne by the proposer. Such proposals and related information shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the Florida Public Records Act. The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities, to reject any or all proposals received, and to otherwise make a decision in the best interests of the County. The Board shall have the final decision-making authority concerning any final award to a management firm or manager entered into by the County. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked in order of preference by the Gulf County Administration. The County may also request additional information from a proposer that may be necessary to fully evaluate a proposal. The proposals will be evaluated and then submitted with recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. If only one proposal is received, the County may negotiate in good faith. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
