The Port of Houston Authority ("Port Houston" or the "Port Authority") is seeking a consultant or consulting team to perform construction materials testing ("CMT") services during a project to Construct the Dedicated Right Turn Lanes and U-Turn Connect at Freight Station Road at the Bayport Terminal. The Dedicated Right Turn Lanes and U-Turn Connect at Freight Station Road at the Bayport Terminal project consists of constructing two (2) dedicated right-turn lanes from Freight Station Road. The first lane will merge eastbound unto Port Road, and the second lane will connect to the existing U-turn underneath Port Road Bridge and connect westbound onto Port Road. Access to the site is from SH 146 exit eastbound Port Road, La Porte TX 77571. A site map is attached as Exhibit No. 1. The Port Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in any proposal, the Port Authority reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction of, or to reject, the proposal.
