Scope of Work: Contractor to provide labor, material and supervision to replace the existing Public Announcement (PA) system at the James J Peters VA Medical Center and as specified on the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Drawings and Specifications will be released with a solicitation. Scope of Work: Replace PA System as specified on the project drawings and written specifications. Coordinate all work with Project Engineer. Provide patchwork, paint, replacing ceiling tiles, etc. to any area destroyed during construction. All materials must match existing type. Contractor is required to visit site and meet with Project Engineer prior to bidding. Time and location to be determined. Must clean construction site on a daily basis. Any drawings provided may not be up to date and must be field verified by contractor for accuracy. Contractor to abide with all in house policies such as safety, ID badges, security, infection control, etc. Alternate entrance is always secured and never to be left open while contractor is off site. All work is to abide by VA specifications. All proper infection control and life safety measures will be abided and coordinated with Infection Control and Safety Officer. All work will be done using approved materials and a professional work force. All work is to be completed on a timely basis as outlined on the contractors approved schedule.
