The purpose of this mandatory statewide contract is to arrange for disposal or recycling of all refuse collected from the Authorized Users of the contract. This contract may be utilized by State agencies, University of Wisconsin (UW) campuses and cooperative purchasing groups (e.g. municipalities, school districts, tribal governments, etc.). This Contract will run for an initial three (3) year period. The Department of Administration and the Supplier(s), upon written mutual agreement, may renew the Contract for up to an additional two (2) one (1) year periods, unless terminated. To ensure the delivery of improved services and competitive pricing, to address potential performance issues, changes in technology or industry consolidation, the State reserves the right to negotiate the pricing and terms at the time of renewal. The original contract term or any renewal period may be extended at the State's request on a month-to-month basis for a period not to exceed six (6) months for the purpose of completing a future solicitation or transition to new Supplier(s). Contract conditions, terms and pricing shall not be modified during such a month-to-month extension.
