Renovation of a hospitality development in Shushan, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,000-square-foot hospitality development.
DASNY is soliciting bids for the Windows and Siding Replacement project at Capital District DDSO Hostel 10538. The project is to replace existing windows and siding on the residence. Scope of work includes replacement of approximately 4,000 sf of existing T-111 siding with insulated sheathing and vinyl siding; replacement of windows and doors within existing openings with custom fiberglass and vinyl units; aluminium facias, gutters, and downspouts; interior gwb and painting; subsurface drainage piping; and site restoration. One construction contract will be awarded with an estimated value of $175,000 - $225,000. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Equal Employment Opportunity:10% All the Work of the Contract Documents shall commence at the time to be specified in the Notice to Proceed and the Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion no later than December 17, 2021 All individuals who plan to attend pre-bid meetings or bid openings in person will be required to complete and present a DASNY Visitor Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire, present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening. The questionnaire and all instructions are located after Section 19.0 of the Information for Bidders. DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions. Individuals and entities submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between DASNY personnel and a prospective bidder during the procurement process. A complete set of Contract Documents may be viewed and/or purchased online from Camelot Print and Copy Centers. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official plan holder of record.
