Remodeling and renovation of a museum in Collinsville, Illinois. Working plans call for the remodel of a 36,730-square-foot, one-story above grade museum; and for the renovation of a museum.
The participation goal percentages on the amount of the contract awarded by CDB for this project are: 6% Combined MBE/WBE, 1% Combined VBE/PBE goals. The scope of work provides for replacing the HVAC and control systems, along with improvements to the fire safety and security. The work also includes removing the existing temperature control system, installing a new DDC temperature control system, replacing the existing chiller, chilled water pumps, hot water pumps, air-handling units and modifying duct work to provide suitable indoor air quality. The work also includes replacing electrical panels, retrofitting light fixtures, adding outlets in selected areas, and providing new central battery equipment for emergency lighting. PLA is applicable to this project. MBE/FBE Subcontracting and Supplier Goals Apply Electrical Trade is 4% MBE/WBE Combined No PBE or VBE goals COST RANGE $3,500,000.00
