Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............... The City of Redwood City is now accepting proposals for Redwood Shores Lagoon Dredging. The City of Redwood City issoliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide dredging and related consulting services for the Redwood Shores Lagoon. This project will focus on a specific area in the waterbody between Port Walk Place and Boardwalk Place. The area is approximately 1000' x 85'. It will require debris/sediment removal up to a depth of approximately 18"-24". The estimated volume of sediment to be removed is 6,300 CY. The Lagoon cannot be drained due to the presence of hydrostatic pressure. The water in this area is circulated through the Belmont Slough Tide Gates. There are two potential staging areas for equipment. Consultants will also be required to identify and obtain all necessary permits to conduct operations. The qualified firm must be experienced in facilitating all required services of the project This is a Public Works Project under Prevailing Wage Law. Where applicable, Consultant and subcontractors shall pay all employees performing labor under the scope of services, salaries or wages at least equal to the general prevailing wage rates in effect at the time this RFP isissued, as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, for the particular crafts, classifications or types of workers employed on the project and shall comply with all applicable requirements of California Labor Code 1720 et seq.
