The Contract involves furnishing all labor and materials required to install approximately 10,299' of 6" and 8" water main and appurtenances. Each bid must contain the full name and street address of the bidder, a signed Non-Collusion Affidavit, a signed Personal Property Tax Affidavit, and a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Failure to submit bid bids in conformance with the Contract Documents will result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Attention of Bidders is called to all requirements contained in the contract Documents, particularly to the State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Bid Conditions of OPWC-Assisted Construction Projects. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage & Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. Engineer's estimate for the base bid is $2,591,690.20. The right is reserved by the County to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders.
