**As of October 23, 2023, this project has been released for bidding. The City of Edmond, Oklahoma is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) to provide preconstruction project development activities and construction services for a renovation of the AC Caplinger Sports Complex. These services will be coordinated with a design team lead by Halff which has been selected for architectural and engineering (A/E) services to design the renovation. It is anticipated the renovation will include replacement of playing fields, including sports surfacing, irrigation, lighting, fencing, backstops, and resizing/realignment. The desired outcome of the project will also include additional parking stalls, replacement of the concrete walks, stormwater management, and other amenities to create a desirable complex for Edmond residents and visitors alike. Construction is anticipated to start June 2024. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be required of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The bid bond should be submitted online at the time of online bid submission closing date and time. Each bid submitted is a legal offer and when accepted by the City, constitutes a FIRM AND BINDING CONTRACT. The City reserves the right to REJECT ANY or ALL BIDS. The City of Edmond reserves the unconditional right to cancel all or any portion of this project within thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids, for any reason and at its sole discretion. By submitting a bid for services, the bidder certifies that they, and any proposed subcontractors, are in compliance with 25 O.S. 1313 and participate in the Status Verification System.
