HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish Contract(s) replacement of aging doors at Rio Grande State Center (RGSC). Any contract resulting from this Solicitation will have an initial term beginning on the date the Purchase Order is issued and expiring August 31, 2021. NIGP Class/Item No(s): 910-15 DoorInstallation, Wood, Maintenance and Repair Services The Contractor shall provide materials and preparation and installation services for thirty-eight (38) doors as follows:
1. Provide 3-feet wide x 7-feet tall x 1-3/4-inch-thick solid core birch wood doors.
2. Prepare the doors for continuous hinges and regular lock set with the specifications as follows: door prep 161, and backset 2-3/4.
3. Remove existing Lite Kits from approximately eighteen (18) existing doors and prep new doors for installation of existing Lite Kits into new doors and install existing Lite Kits in new doors.
4. Contractor will provide facility with choices for stain and apply stain as per facility choice of stain.
5. Dispose of old doors, and any and all materials and debris per local, state, and federal regulations.
The Contractor shall provide materials and installation services for one (1) door as follows:
1. Provide 26-inch wide x 8-feet tall x 1-3/4-inch-thick solid core birch wood door.
2. Remove existing Lite Kit from existing door and prep new door for installation of existing Lite Kit into new door and install existing Lite Kit in new door.
3. Install new door re-using all existing hardware.
4. Dispose of old door, and any and all materials and debris per local, state, and federal regulations.
