The Project consists of improving stream conditions at two locations. The first location (Site 1) is located at the culvert crossing on Johnson Hill Road. Proposed work at Site 1 includes removing and replacing the existing culvert; reconstructing and repaving a portion of roadway; driveway reconstruction and other associated roadway improvements; and site restoration. The second location (Site 5) is located to the north of the Hoosick Falls Country Club near Richmond Avenue. Work at Site 5 includes realigning the stream; installing grade control structures; and all associated site restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations.
