Site work and new construction of a civil project in Churchville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Performing all work necessary to construct a new raw water pumping station. The station must have a total firm capacity of 6 MGD from four (4) vertical turbine pumps operated in a lead-lag-lagreserve configuration. Install yard piping and vaults to connect the pump station discharge to an existing 16 inch raw water line and to connect existing 24 inch and 30 inch raw water supply lines to the new pump station. The pump station building is approximately 1,490 square foot. After the new pump station has completed startup, demolish the existing pump station, construct a platform on the remaining foundation, and furnish, install, and integrate a 1,500 kW generator. SCADA and controls integration will be performed by Owner under a separate contract. Contactor will install Owner Furnished instrumentation equipment supplied under the SCADA and controls integration contract. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
