As of November 2023, the City Council approved the project. The project has only been funded for planning and development. A construction timeline has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Pleasanton (City) is seeking a consultant to prepare final design services for the PFAS Treatment and Wells Rehabilitation Project (Project). The Project includes but is not limited to rehabilitation/replacement to the City's Well 5, 6, and 8 facilities; construction of a centralized treatment facility (CTF) for PFAS treatment, disinfection, and fluoridation of City groundwater; and construction of pipeline improvements to transmit raw groundwater from the well facilities to the CTF and treated groundwater from the CTF through the distribution system. Final design services include but are not limited to preparation of equipment pre-purchase and construction contract documents, development of project schedules and construction cost estimates, field investigations to support final design, preparation of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documentation, construction bidding support services, and coordination of outside agency permit applications and reviews. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
