Department of Public Health, Jamaica Plain Campus Tower Building -Renovation, Jamaica Plain, MA. This is a phased renovation of an approximately 208,000 GSF, eight-story plus basement building. This building is cast-in-place construction with MEP systems that warrant special consideration due to the sophistication and complexity of the programs and operations housed in the building. The building will remain occupied throughout construction and remain 24/7/365 operational. Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking ($475,479); Metal Windows ($2,779,942); Resilient Floors - Second Request ($1,234,288); Electrical - Second Request ($19,633,666) This is a Construction Management at Risk project under M.G.L. c. 149A. Interested firms MUST submit a Qualification Statement by the deadline and be prequalified if they are interested in later bidding on the project. DCAMM Certification applies for this process. This Request for Qualifications is the first part of a two-step process for Trade Contractors. First, interested firms must submit the Qualification Statement and then, at a later date, only the prequalified firms will be invited to submit bids for the category of works in which they were prequalified. This required Qualification Statement is different from DCAMM Certification. All firms must be qualified for this project, even if they are already DCAMM Certified. Estimated Total Project Duration: 1,642 days The combined Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise (MBE & WBE) participation goal for this project is 10.4% of the GMP.
