Site work for a civil project in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work to be undertaken under this CONTRACT is briefly summarized as follows: Replace approximately 394 m of the existing 1,050 mm diameter concrete START sewer west of 50 Street (replacement pipes shall be 1,050 mm diameter PVC DR35 or approved alternate). Includes disposal of sludge accumulated in pipe (removal and disposal along with existing pipe, or flush/clean the sludge out of the pipe prior to pipe removal). Rehabilitate approximately 32 m of existing 1,050 mm diameter concrete START sewer using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) under 50 Street. Includes flushing/cleaning and disposal of sludge accumulated in the pipe. Rehabilitate approximately 75 m of existing 1,350 mm diameter concrete START sewer using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) under Horsehills Creek. Includes flushing/cleaning and disposal of sludge accumulated in the pipe. Replace 3 manholes. Remove and dispose of 1 manhole. Supply and install 1 new manhole. Flow bypassing to accommodate the proposed pipe and manhole replacements and installations. Restoration of all impacted land and features. All other work as specified in the contract documents.
