**As of February 25, 2025, the project was awarded to Evolution Contracting, LLC, with an awarded amount of $614,675.55.** The work generally consists of the following: This project includes abandoning the existing 4 cast iron pipe and installing a new 6 PVC water main on Ranchwood Drive S and Hitching Post Lane. The project also includes the installation of new under drain on Ranchwood Drive S. Work includes all valves, fittings, restraints and reinstating devices. This project is located on Ranchwood Drive South and Hitching Post Lane in Dunedin, FL. The time allotted for this project is 180 days for substantial completion. All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedinfl.net. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal. Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $833,300.00 A. The work of this Contract consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment, etc., necessary for the general construction of the following, as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. 1. Installation of 6" C900 PVC water pipe, long and short residential services lines, 2" HDPE casing, gate valves, fire hydrants, fittings and all required appurtenances as described in the Drawings, Specifications and Standard Details; 2. Installation of 6" SDR35 PVC underdrain, cleanouts, fittings and all required appurtenances as described in the Drawings, Specifications and Standard Details; 3. Restoration of all roadway pavement, concrete, sod, landscaping, etc. equal to or better than prior to construction; tree removal only as approved in the construction drawings. 4. All required sediment and erosion controls; including storm inlet protection 5. All required traffic controls; 6. All public noticing of impacted residents Question Deadline 01/24/2025
