Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of the following: Construction of a new triplex sanitary lift station adjacent to an existing lift station that will be demolished, including all sitework, connection piping, bypass pumping, electrical and instrumentation work, testing and associated work required to complete the project. The time allotted for this project is 270 days, for substantial completion. All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, CPPO, Purchasing Agent, at cankney@dunedinfl.net, prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFI s submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner. All work performed shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. Two copies of the bid proposal shall be submitted on the standard forms that are included in the specifications and must be marked, SEALED BID FOR CONTRACT Financial Project #: 522002 Bid #: 22-1215 DO NOT OPEN IN MAIL ROOM. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidder s name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashier s check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The City of Dunedin is not responsible for the US Mail or private couriers regarding mail being delivered by the specified time so that a bid can be considered. One contract shall be awarded for all work outlined above and described in the plans and specifications. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
