Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in East Peoria, Illinois. Design plans call for the renovation of a 20,000-square-foot educational facility; library; office development; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of August 4, 2022, a design firm has been selected and this project is in the design phase. It is anticipated construction will start in 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Illinois Central College - East Peoria is a 30-building facility established in 1967. The Library/Administration (JC13A) is a 127,378 square foot, 6-story building established in 1974. The scope of work provides for renovating approximately 20,000 square feet of the Library/Administration Building at the East Peoria campus to expand the Student Services Center, including upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology systems as needed to support the renovation and expansion. Areas to be addressed include admissions, registration, financial aid, student accounts, testing, access services, advising, counseling, veteran resources, and other similar student services functions. Overall circulation and way finding into and throughout the Student Services Center will need to be addressed as part of this project to create an easily navigable facility for students. The work will also include exterior improvements to the building, including replacement of exterior panels, a new entrance and associated site work, landscape, and utilities. A combined MBE/WBE goal of 20 percent is applicable to the A/E team. Some level of participation from both MBE and WBE firms is required to satisfy this goal (this requires including one or more MBE AND one or more WBE firms on the team). A VBE/PBE goal of 3 percent is applicable to the A/E team. The interviews for this project are tentatively scheduled for November 15, 2021.
