As of 10/1/2021 project was already awarded for $854,298.12. Project no - 20010.01 The intent of the project is to remove the existing Gate 7-11 exit portals and install a new pre-manufactured exit portals in a similar location at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Work consists of but is not limited to the procurement and installation pre-manufactured exit portals; demolition, wall framing, storefront systems, tile work, electrical, HVAC, low voltage, fire and plumbing. No site or structural work and modifications are anticipated as part of the scope of work. *Addendum 1 has been released. New phased-construction of an Airport Terminal Gates 7-11 Exit Portal and related work at other areas of the Terminal and tie-in to existing infrastructure, security system and utilities for a complete and functional Exit Portal. The demolition work and shut down of the existing exit portal cannot begin until the new exit portal materials are on site. The shut down of the existing exit portal shall be minimized. Select demolition, temporary facilities, and phased construction to ensure the passenger exit pathway remains open at all times and the existing security system remains functional at all times. The secured doors and temporary exit pathway shall be secured by the Contractor's Security personnel when the new or existing Exit Portal is not functional and aircraft flights are scheduled or anticipated within the Gates 7-11 passenger hold room.
