Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
alfour Beatty Construction is seeking to pre-qualify electrical contractors to submit bids for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the following project: NCSU Electrical Distribution Upgrade. Balfour Beatty Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the project and will receive bids from and contract with the principal contractors for the execution of the work. The preliminary budget for Distribution Package #1 is $4,500,000 and the entire project budget inclusive of future bid packages is $47,211,000. The goal for this project is 10% HUB participation. This is not a request for bid, however, only subcontractors who complete a prequalification package, and are deemed prequalified, will be considered for a bid on this project. Submittals for prequalification forms may be hand delivered, mailed, or submitted electronically. Deadline for prequalification is 14 days prior to Bid Date. The CMR and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all Pre-qualifications. Contracting method will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues.
