The City of Arvada and Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) are working together to develop a new park in the Arvada Ridge area which seeks to meet identified public park service gaps and support higher education curriculum at the RRCC Arvada Campus. The project is included in the city's Fiscal Year 2021-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 5, 2022,further details regarding design firm have not been identified. It is anticipated bidding will commence in April 2022, with construction starting in summer 2022, and ending fall 2022/spring 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
