Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work includes approximately 210 cubic yards of excavation common, 335 ton of 1-1/4" BAD, 64 ton of HMA pavement, 550 square feet of sidewalk, 330 feet of curb, storm sewer installation, removals, appurtenances, and miscellaneous items. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to 5 percent (5%) of the total bid price payable to said City of Stevens Point as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file a contract within ten (10) days after such acceptance. All applicable charter and statutory provisions and ordinances are incorporated into the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to conform to all Federal, State and local safety requirements. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Board of Public Works for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the contract. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. The contract shall consist of asphalt and pavement removal, common excavation, sidewalk removal, curb removal, abandoning existing structure, installation of new curb and gutter, 1- 1/4" base aggregate, asphaltic binder and surface placement, new sidewalk, storm sewer installation, sign placement, traffic control and all incidental items thereto at the locations identified in the plans and these special provisions and as identified by the engineer or their duly authorized representative. The contractor shall be responsible for providing a traffic control plan and providing traffic control from the time contract work is commenced until the roadway can be opened to traffic; general cleanup including sweeping of the binder and removal of excess concrete is also required and shall be incidental to bid items included in the contract documents.
