A. This section provides an overall summary of the WORK, the responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR, and his affiliation to the OWNER. It does not supersede specific requirements of other Contract Documents in this Project Manual. B. The WORK consists of the following: The lift station has been designed to be constructed with a 8-foot diameter concrete wet well at a depth of 34 feet below natural ground (by caisson construction), with a 12-inch diameter influent line at a 26-foot depth, two (2) submersible lift pumps with a firm capacity of 470 gallons per minute (gpm), 8-inch forcemain, elevation controls, auto dialer, automatic transfer switch, permanent natural gas emergency generator, and an onsite pad mounted transformer. A 6-inch diameter passive ventilation pipe will also be utilized. The facility will be encompassed by an 8-foot tallsecurity fence. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining, installing, and constructing all materials per plans and specifications to provide a fully functional and operational sanitary lift station.
