Renovation of a municipal facility in Medway, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Building Metal Siding replacement of one wall approx 60 ft. Install new insulated metal wall panel. 1. SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work under this contract shall consist Design Build of existing building, metal siding replacement, furnishing labor and material to remove west side metal panel siding, Supply and install new 6” (R-19) metal building insulation faced with 1- 6” single seal tab metal panel siding, structural supports, eave, struts, girts, base angle, rake angle, girt filler, sheeting and angle, corner trim. Work includes mobilization, performance of the work, clean-up, and demobilization. 2. WORK AREA 2.1 Medway DPW, Old Wash Bay building, 46 Broad Street, Medway, MA. 2.2 Contractor shall ensure safe passage for the DPW staff and equipment and all emergency response vehicles at all times. 2.3 To schedule a site visit call or email Bob McGee at bmcgee@townofmedway.org or 774-285-0439. DEMOLITION/REMOVAL 3.1 No demolition and dismantling shall be undertaken unless weather protective systems are in place. 3.2 All removal operations shall be in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.. 3.3 Strip off existing west side wall sheating and sub-framing on existing wash bay preengineered building and all corners and dispose of properly to a certified transfer station. 3.4 Remove west side wall panels, girts, girt bridging, base angle, cable braces.
