This project will construct a new 200 SM visitor's center with reinforced concrete foundation and floor, insulated reinforced split faced concrete block exterior walls and standing seam metal roof, complying with Kirtland Architectural Compatibility Plan, parking, area lighting, signage, security fences, imaging systems, communications support, handicap accessible visitor and staff restrooms, HVAC, fire detection and suppression systems, and all other associated utilities. Existing Visitor Building 21002 (41 SM), Entry Control Building 21005 (6 SM), will be demolished along with walls, fences, pavements and other structures in the project area.
