Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Township Committee of the Township of Green Brook, Somerset County, New Jersey for "Milling and Paving Red Bud Lane and Wingate Way" and be opened and read in public at the Meeting Room at Town Hall, 111 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, NJ 08812. The project improvements generally consist of full depth pavement repairs, resurfacing, and replacement of inlet castings. Contract Document for the proposed work, which have been prepared by the Township Engineer, C. Richard Roseberry, P.E., of the firm of Colliers Engineering & Design, are available at Green Brook Town Hall, 111 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, NJ 08812, and may be inspected by prospective bidders between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The award of the Contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Township of Green Brook in a lawful manner. Proposals for this Contract will only be accepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract documents. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Township. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the following: A. Affirmative Action requirements (P.L. 1975, C.127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq.). B. The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). C. Anti-Kickback Regulations under Section 2 of the Act of June 13, 1934, known as the Copeland Act. D. Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act (N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1). Moreover, the bid must be accompanied by a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of the stock in accordance with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law (P.L. 1988, C.33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2). Bidders must be registered with the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-44.
