The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (HAKC) is seeking bids from qualified contractors for Interior Water Damage Restoration in accordance with the attached scope of work. Work must be completed within 75 Calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall be assessed Liquidated Damages of $175.00 for each workday in excess of this allotted time for completion. Exceptions may be granted for delays caused by Owner or modifications to the Scope of Work. All activities are to be performed in a Professional Workman Like Manner and Consistent with Industry Standard. c. Repair & replace damages around front & rear porches d. Interior water damages installations to be replaced are: Sheetrock Walls Ceilings, Insulations, Floorings, Plumbing Pipes to Plastic Pex & Water Heather Fixtures, Cabinet, Furnace & Cooling System to Energy Efficient minimum 95.5% 14 SEER, Electrical Works. Prep. Prime and Paint the entire walls and ceilings including doors/window, frames, and trims, with 2 coats of approved paints. e. Remove and replace cracked and broken windows glass panes to Standard Sound Transmission Class (STC 28-30) rating. f. Rewire all cut and damaged electrical wires in the walls attic & cross space & replace all ceiling j-box & lighting line to the fixtures and fixtures. g. Prepare the unit for ready move in. h. Pull Permits and submit report from Codes Adm, Dept, for all works that required Codes permits inspections & approval certificates such as Electrical, Building Plumbing/gas line & HVAC system.
