Renovation of an educational facility in Amarillo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of October 5, 2023 this project has been awarded but awarded amount not confirmed. The scope of the project covers the furnishing and installation of flooring for campus housing at Amarillo College East Campus, Amarillo, Texas. All work will be contracted and coordinated by Jim Baca. A cashier's check, or acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the Amarillo Junior College District, in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total for the proposal submitted must accompany each proposal, as a guarantee that, if awarded a contract, the Proposer will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. By submitting a proposal, the Proposer agrees to waive any claim against Amarillo Junior College District and their respective employees, arising out of or made in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any proposal. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt unless sooner returned. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities or reject any or all proposals. Installing new flooring as specified, as each unit becomes available. Contractor is to remove and dispose of existing flooring, provide for all labor, materials, equipment, insurance and required bonds necessary to complete the work. Contractor is to clean up all debris upon completion of work. Contractor is to furnish all supplies, labor and equipment necessary to complete each project. Contractor is to complete each project in a professional and timely manner. A. Description of work: (1) The project includes installing new flooring in houses as they become available. Contractor is to provide for all labor, materials, equipment, insurance and required bonds to complete the work. Contractor is to clean up all debris upon completion of work. (2) Owner will notify the Contractor when the Houses are ready for new flooring and coordinate an installation date. Contractor must start and complete all work on time as scheduled. (3) Termination of Contract will be determined if Contractor cannot comply with the service schedule and quality of workmanship at the discretion of the Owner. B. Buildings are occupied. C. Schedule work to avoid interference with normal daily building operations (8:00 am to 5:00 pm). Special authorization required for other work hours. E. Contractor shall submit invoice for each completed installation. Amarillo College will make payment with 15 days after receipt of invoice and approval of work.
