Site work for a pipeline in Buford, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
The Project consists of the installation of approximately 600 linear feet of 4-inch steel gas main, 480 linear feet of 4-inch polyethylene gas main, untrenched installation, line valves, connections, service changeovers and related appurtenances. The new facilities will replace existing facilities that are in conflict with the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation project for the proposed improvements at Sardis Church Road, Project Number F-1281-04. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds either a Georgia State Contractors License, Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, or qualifications with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43 14 and 43-41. Failure to provide the bidder's license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award the Contract on the basis of the base bid. All required federal, state, and local permits as well as required easements or rights of way for the project have been obtained.
