Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk ("CMR") to provide professional Construction Services for the Tropical Bear Habitat Expansion Project ("Project") The project will involve the development of multiple expanded exterior exhibit yards and the rehabilitation of the interior bear holding facilities. The project site is located in the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo at 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109. The existing tropical bear exhibit is located on the opposite side of Rosebrough Tiger Passage in the Wilderness Trek portion of the Zoo. Total Project Cost: $6.5 Million Construction Cost: $5.6 Million Construction Manager Selection October 2021 Contract Negotiations and Board Approval October 2021 Cost Estimating (contract documents) April 2022 Final GMP Establishment May 2022 Construction Commencement August 2022 Construction Complete July 2023
