Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
As of March 3, 2023, the project has been completed, however, information regarding the awarded general contract and an exact timeline for construction have not been confirmed at this time. The project includes, but is not limited to The Boathouse Buildings Utility & Facility Repairs Project addresses repairs to the Bait Shop and Boathouse at the Point Defiance Marina. Repairs include select utility repairs, replacement of building siding and framing, replacement of doors, improvement/repairs to the second-floor balcony and at main level between Bait shop and Boat elevator. In addition, the Bait shop, Boathouse and boathouse elevator are scheduled to receive new paint. Minority & Women Owned Enterprises (MWBE) participation will apply. Metro Parks Tacoma encourages an MWBE goal of eight percent (8%) on a Public Works PROJECT ESTIMATED AT $20,000.00 OR MORE including Subcontractors: The Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) certifies firms that are owned and controlled by minorities or women and can provide information regarding the certification process.
