Renovation of a fire / police facility in Crofton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the District of North Cowichan (the "District") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Crofton Fire Hall Renovations and Addition Pre-Construction and Agent Construction Management Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The District is redeveloping the existing fire hall to accommodate the changing needs of the fire department. This redevelopment and associated site redevelopment will be located on the existing Roberts Street site in Crofton, North Cowichan, BC. The Project will adjust the capacities of the existing fire hall building, many parts of which have reached the end of their economic and functional lifespan. The resulting renovated facility will be considerably smaller than its current size, but far more convenient and useful for the staff and members as currently deployed.
