Site work for a water / sewer project in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 16, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work in this contract generally consists of 14 linear feet of 4" Water Line, 857 linear feet of 6" Water Line, 476 linear feet of 8" Water Line, and 8,620 linear feet of 12" Water Line. Sealed proposals and MWBE Good Faith Efforts must be submitted on the blank forms provided and as specified in the bound copies of the contract documents. This is a bifurcated bid process. The bid shall be enclosed in two different sealed envelopes addressed to Mr. John Fersner, Engineering Division, 300 West Washington Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401.The outside of each envelope shall be plainly marked with the Project Name; Contract Number; the name, address and license number of the Bidder; and with the notation Bid Enclosed and the other envelope with the MWBE participation noted as MWBE Good Faith Efforts. Mailing costs will be $25.00 per set or charged to the contractors shipping account. Neither owner nor engineer will be responsible for copies of the bidding documents obtained from sources other than the City of Greensboro. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids or to award such contract as in its judgment is deemed to be in the best interest of the City
