Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of January 27, 2022, project was not yet awarded. Owner is still securing funds for the project. The project consists of replacing fans and associated variable frequency drives for the existing Built Up Air Systems (BUAS). Bid Alternates a. Alternate No. 1: Replace vane axial supply & return fan impellers in BUAS-1 and F-1R. See Fan Schedule. Pressure wash fan housing prior to installation of new impeller assembly. Provide VFD. b. Alternate No. 2: Replace vane axial supply & return fan impellers in BUAS-2 and F-2R. See Fan Schedule. Pressure wash fan housing prior to installation of new impeller assembly. Provide VFD. c. Alternate No. 3: Replace the return fan (RF-1) for AHU-1. Provide new VFD rated motor and a VFD to control the fan. The Work shall be conducted in accordance to the project phases noted on the plans. B. Before commencing Work of each phase, submit an updated copy of Contractor's construction schedule showing the sequence, commencement and completion dates, and move-out and -in dates of Owner's personnel for all phases of the Work. Anticipated Start Date: January 19, 2022 Anticipated Final Completion Date: May 19, 2022 - Anticipated Final Closeout: June 2, 2022
