Site work for a water / sewer project in Cave City, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The initial project included in the bid consists of pipe bursting approximately 6,200 linear feet of existing sewer line and inserting HDPE pipe, manhole installation, point repairs as required to remove obstructions; sag remediation of replaced lines; restoration of service connections by open cut; pre-construction and post-construction video of all pipe burst lines; and restoration of all disturbed surfaces and facilities to existing condition. Work will be paid for on a unit price basis. The contract will cover up to a 5-year period; work may be added to the contract each of the subsequent 4 years, after the first year, by change order with possible minor adjustments to contract unit prices. No lump sum prices will be adjusted. Quantities of work awarded in subsequent years are expected to be about the same as for the first year but are not guaranteed.
