Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA), invites your firm to submit a Statement of Qualification (SOQ) for the Planning and Design of the Civil Infrastructure for the Conversion to Open Road Tolling (Project) of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge (SFOBB) The selected Consultant will provide design and environmental support services for environmental clearance, final design, permitting, advertising of the civil construction contract, bid support services, and design services during construction to prepare the Project Approval/ Environmental Document (PA/ED), Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E), and AsBuilts. BATA anticipates clearing the project under a single environmental clearance. Questions Due Date: Sep 9th 2021, 4:00 PM PDT BATA expects the work to commence on or about November 1, 2021, and to be completed no later than August 23, 2023. At BATA's sole option, the contract may be extended for two (2) additional years for work contemplated by Appendix A, Preliminary Scope of Work. BATA has budgeted approximately Five Million dollars ($5,000,000) for this effort. Additional funding may be available in future Fiscal Years (FYs) subject to approval of future BATA budgets. The conference will not be recorded. BATA reserves the right to accept or reject all SOQs submitted, waive minor irregularities, request additional information, and negotiate with any or all Proposers. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
