Site work for a civil project in Warren, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work for Contract 2021-1 is generally described to include installation of two new submersible sewage pumps and base elbows (furnished by others) in an existing wet well, and replacement of valve pit valves. Clarification Deadline 9/4/2021 5:00 pm A certified check or bank draft, payable to Kinzua Warren County Joint Authority, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Prevailing wages will apply if the contract amount exceeds $25,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. There is no isolation beyond the check valves. The force main will have to be drained to replace the check valves. The length of the force main is approximately 3,673 feet to the high point. An addendum will be issued to clarify procedures for replacement of the check valves As indicated on PennBid, the expected contract value is approximately $30,000.
