If there are any questions, please forward them to the Issuing Office prior to the bid opening date and time. All questions regarding the IFB must be submitted via the RA-pwbidquestions@pa.gov email address. All questions must be received by January 3 th , 2025. Include the IFB bid number in the subject of the email. All questions and answers are considered an addendum to the IFB. Answers will be post by January 10 th , 2025. Duration: 3 Weeks Scope of Work The ramp will need to be designed for an 80" drop. Top platform to be 72"x60" Ramp and platforms to comply with ADA. Ramp sections will be 72" wide. Ramp sections, platforms, steps, legs, and guardrails are to be constructed of mill finish aluminum extrusions and mill finish aluminum sheet. Product materials specifications must be 600 series aluminum alloys structural members to be 6061-T6, 6063-T52 and 6065-T5, and all aluminum sheet will be 5052-H32, or an approved equal. Welded assemblies will be free of sharp edges and fabricated in accordance with ANSI welding standards. All mechanical fasteners will be stainless steel. Deck surfaces are to be powder coated for slip resistance. Substitution not meeting specifications will not be accepted. Vendor is responsible for verifying layout as well as critical dimensions and threshold elevations prior to fabrication. Vendor is to provide a signed warranty on all system components required for installation. Warranty information, including duration of warranty, must be included as a part of this bid.
