Renovation of a municipal facility in Warren, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project Description: Construction of college classroom space, restrooms and common areas within the third floor of 300 Second Avenue facility. The project area has been fully cleared of interior partitioning, utilities and equipment. Document info : Contract documents can be examined at the following locations, appointment required: Warren County Development Association 308 Market Street Warren, PA 16365 or LaBella Associates, DPC 500 East Sixth Street Jamestown, NY 14701. If Bid Documents Are to Be Shipped, the Bidder Must Furnish Avalon With the Bidder S Active Ups or Federal Express Account Number or Pay Avalon for All Shipping and Handling Costs A Bidder, Making the Deposit Required for the Bidding Documents, Submitting a Proposal Accompanied by a Certified Check or Other Security in Accordance With the Requirements Contained in the Plans and Specifications and Public Advertisement for Bids and if the Copy of the Plans and Specifications Used by Such Bidder, Other Than the Successful Bidder is Returned in Good Condition Within Thirty (30) Days to Avalon (Address Above) Award of the Contract Covered by Such Plans and Specifications, or Rejection of the Bid, the Full Amount of Such Deposit for One Copy of the Plans and Specifications Shall Be Returned to Such Bidder, Including the Successful Bidder. Partial Reimbursement, in an Amount Equal to the Full Amount of Such Deposit for One Set of Plans and Specifications Per Unsuccessful Bidder or Non-bidder Less the Actual Cost of Reproduction of the Plans and Specifications, Shall Be Made for the Return of All Other Copies of the Plans and Specifications in Good Condition Within Thirty (30) Days Following the Award of the Contract or the Rejection of the Bids Covered by Such Plans and Specifications. All work completed hereunder shall comply with the Federal Procurement Law and Davis Bacon wage rates apply to all elements of the project. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a certified check of bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount with the WCDA named as Payee or Obligee. Should any bidder to whom Notice of Intent to Award has been issued fail to, or otherwise be unable to, or refuse to properly execute a contract within ten (10) days of such notice then the proposal security shall be forfeited and become the property of the WCDA. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Performance and Payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum. Offers are to be presented on Bid Form provided in the contract documents. Offers will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The WCDA reserves the right to reject any and or all bids , to acceptor reject any item or combination of items contained in any bid, to waive any irregularities in conjunction with any bid and to accept that bid or part thereof, which is deemed most advantageous to the WCDA at the time and other the conditions stipulated.
